The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research has prolonged the registration deadline for the IISER IAT Counselling 2025 until July 7, 2025. Candidates who have qualified for the IISER Aptitude Test and have not yet submitted their applications for the counselling process may do so on the official website at iiseradmission.in.
According to the website, the registration window for IISER IAT Counselling 2025 and choice-filling will close on July 7, 2025, at 5 PM.
The official website advises, “Please complete the form with the utmost care, exercising due diligence, as candidates will not be permitted to alter their preference(s) after 5 PM on July 07, 2025.”
Previously, the deadline for applications was July 3, 2025.
Registrations for the counselling process commenced on June 26, 2025. Once the counselling window is closed, the results of seat allotment will be published based on the choices filled by the candidates.
According to IISER, an admission offer will be made based on the availability of seats for a specific round, the candidate’s rank in the examination, the preferences submitted by the candidate, and the candidate’s category.
Candidates may either accept or reject the seat after receiving the admission offer. If a candidate declines the offer or fails to take any action before the deadline, they will be ineligible to participate in subsequent counselling rounds.
It is noteworthy that the results of the IISER Aptitude Test or IAT 2025 were announced on June 25, 2025.
The examination was conducted for admission to the 5-Year BS-MS (Dual Degree), 4-Year BS, and BTech degree programmes offered by IISERs located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.
