The National Testing Agency has published the provisional answer key along with the question papers and the recorded responses of candidates for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) scheduled for June 2025. Candidates who participated in the UGC NET June examination can access and download the provisional answer key from ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Candidates who have concerns regarding the provisional answer key for UGC NET are permitted to submit objections until 5 pm on July 8. To submit an objection, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 for each question.
The processing fee can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The NTA will not entertain any challenges that do not include the processing fee.
“Objections raised by candidates will be evaluated by a panel of subject matter experts. If a candidate’s objection is deemed valid, the Answer Key will be amended and applied to the responses of all candidates accordingly. The results will be compiled and announced based on the revised Final Answer Key. Individual candidates will not receive notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The final decision made by the Experts after the challenge will be conclusive,” stated the NTA.
It has recommended that candidates check the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, for the most recent updates.
The NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2025 examination across 85 subjects in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from June 25 to 29.
