The University of Delhi has published the comprehensive timetable for the third round of allocations and admissions for undergraduate programs under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic year 2025–26. As per the published schedule, the preference re-order window and other options will be activated today, August 2, at 5 pm. The third round encompasses processes for seat upgrades, fresh allocations, mid-entry candidates, and special categories such as CW, ECA, Sports, and Ward Quota.

Candidates who have already secured admission in either Round I or Round II will have the opportunity to upgrade to higher-preference program-college combinations. This upgrade and reorder window will be available from 5 pm on August 2 (Saturday) until 4:59 pm on August 3 (Sunday). Below is a detailed list of significant dates for candidates —

Candidates choosing to upgrade can also rearrange their program-college preferences. Allocations for upgraded seats will be directly activated at the college level. Admission will be deemed complete only after the successful payment of any applicable differential fee.
The university has introduced a mid-entry window from 5 pm on August 8 (Friday) to 4:59 pm on August 10 (Sunday). This provision is intended for:
Candidates who did not apply in CSAS (UG) 2025 Phase-I or who failed to complete Phase-II.

Candidates whose applications were rejected in previous rounds due to incorrect subject mapping, ineligibility, or invalid documentation.
Such candidates can participate in the admission process by paying a non-refundable mid-entry fee of Rs 1,000. They will also have the ability to edit their preferences and rectify subject-mapping issues. Furthermore, candidates who were not allocated any seat in the earlier rounds may also update their preferences during this window.
All preferences submitted by the conclusion of the mid-entry period (by 5 pm on August 10) will be utilized for future seat allocations. Candidates are encouraged to consult the vacant seat matrix prior to finalizing their selections.
DU’s Ramjas College has closed its hostels due to safety concerns, prompting protests from student groups.
The third round of seat allocations is scheduled to be announced on August 13 (Wednesday) at 5 pm, based on information available until August 10 at 5 pm. The university has clarified that the allocation marks and ranks for Round III will not be associated with those from earlier rounds. Therefore, no complaints regarding alterations in allocation thresholds will be considered.
On the same day, the following will also be released:
–Round I allocations for Performance-Based Programs such as Music, BFA, and Physical Education (PE, HE&S),
–Round I allocations for CW (Children of War Widows), ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities), Sports quotas, and Ward Quota allocations.
Candidates who are selected must accept their allocated seats between August 13 and August 17 (Wednesday to Sunday). Colleges will verify and approve applications during this timeframe. The deadline for online fee payment is August 19 (Tuesday), at 4:59 pm.
