The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the Class 12 compartment examinations. Students who participated can visit the official website–cbseresults.nic.in– to check and download their scorecards.
In 2025, a total of 14,010 schools and 963 examination centres were involved in administering the CBSE Class 12 supplementary examinations. A total of 1,43,581 candidates registered for the exams, with 1,38,666 actually appearing. Among these, 53,201 students successfully passed the CBSE supplementary examinations, leading to an overall pass percentage of 38.36 percent.
When evaluating the performance of candidates from foreign schools in the CBSE supplementary exams, 938 students registered and 918 appeared. Of these, 486 students passed, achieving a notably higher pass percentage of 52.94 percent.
Regarding gender-specific performance in the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams, girls surpassed boys. The pass percentage for girls was recorded at 41.35 percent, while boys had a pass percentage of 36.79 percent, indicating that girls performed better by a margin of 4.56 percent.
In the supplementary examinations held in 2025, a total of 278 Children With Special Needs (CWSN) candidates registered for the exams. Out of these, 273 candidates appeared, and 137 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 50.18 percent.
The CBSE supplementary examinations for all Class 12 subjects were conducted on July 15 across the country and in 26 international locations. The verification process is set to commence on August 6.
The results for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 were announced on May 13. Out of the 23,85,079 students who registered for the CBSE Class 10 examinations, 23,71,939 students took the exams. Among those, 22,21,636 students successfully passed. For the CBSE Class 12 examinations conducted this year, a total of 17,04,367 students registered. Of these, 16,92,794 students participated, and 14,96,307 students passed the examination.
In 2024, the CBSE released the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on May 13. In 2023, the results were announced on May 12. In 2022 and 2021, the results were postponed to July 22 and August 3, respectively, due to interruptions caused by the pandemic.
