The Staff Selection Commission has announced the schedule for the SSC CGL Exam 2025 on Thursday, September 3, 2025. Candidates who are set to take the Combined Graduate Level Exam 2025 can access the timetable on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
According to the announcement, the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 is scheduled to take place on September 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26. This examination will be conducted in a computer-based test format.
The Tier-I examination will feature Objective Type, Multiple Choice questions. The exam will include questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. The questions will be available in both English and Hindi, with the exception of the English Comprehension section.
It is important to note that this recruitment drive aims to fill 14,582 vacancies in Group B and Group C positions across various Ministries, Departments, Organizations of the Government of India, and several Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals. Of the total vacancies, 6,183 are allocated for the Unreserved (UR) category, 2,167 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 1,088 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 3,721 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 1,423 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The registration process for the SSC CGL began on June 9 and concluded on July 4, 2025. In the meantime, the commission has recommended that candidates regularly check its official website for further updates.
