The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing has initiated the registration process for CDAC CCAT 2026. Candidates interested in applying for C-CAT can access the direct link via the official CDAC website at cdac.in.
The registration process began on November 27 and will conclude on December 29, 2025. Candidates can download the C-CAT admit cards from January 6 to January 10, 2026.
Eligible candidates must possess a graduation degree in Engineering or Technology (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or Instrumentation. Alternatively, candidates with an MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics may also apply online.
CDAC CCAT 2026: Application Procedure
To apply online, candidates should adhere to the following steps:
- Navigate to the official CDAC website at cdac.in.
- Click on the CDAC CCAT 2026 registration link available on the homepage.
- A new page will appear where candidates must register themselves.
- After completing the registration, log in to your account.
- Complete the application form and pay the application fee.
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
- Retain a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
The examination fee for A+B papers is ₹1550/-, while the fee for A+B+C papers is ₹1750/-. Payment should be made through online methods.
The examination is scheduled for January 10 and 11, 2025. C-CAT consists of three sections (Section A, Section B, Section C), each lasting one hour. Depending on the selected course category, candidates will need to take either two test papers (Section A and Section B) or all three test papers (Section A, Section B, and Section C). The medium of instruction for C-CAT is English.
Each section of the C-CAT will consist of 50 objective-type questions. Every question will present four possible answer choices, with only one being correct. Candidates will receive +3 (three) marks for each correct answer, -1 (one) mark for each incorrect answer, and 0 (zero) marks for any question that is not attempted. The highest score a candidate can achieve in any single section of the C-CAT is 150.
