Indian Air Force had invited applications from Indian citizens (Men & Women) to be a part of the IAF as Commissioned Officers in flying and ground duty (technical and non-technical) meteorology branches for Batch 02/2021 for the July 2021 course. As per the revised dates, the online registration will commence on June 1, 2021, and the last date to apply online is June 30, 2021.
The entrance exam is conducted twice a year in February and August. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force.
Advertisements inviting applications for Air Sqn NCC Senior division ‘C’ certificate holders are required to apply online through NCC Special entry. Candidates must note that the registration is being done through these two websites only. Do not register for AFCAT on any other website.
Candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force for both Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duties for both Technical and Non-Technical roles can apply for this exam.
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the online exam and Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. Candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) branches are required to appear in both AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Indian Air Force. The exam is held twice a year in February and August/September, respectively, to select Class-I Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical).
AFCAT is out in June and December.
