The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has issued the admit card for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026. Candidates who have registered for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes for the academic year 2026-27 can download their admit cards from the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
The AILET 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on December 14. Candidates will have the opportunity to download the AILET 2026 hall ticket until 1:30 PM on December 14.

The AILET 2026 will be administered in an offline format, utilizing pen and paper (OMR sheet based). It is important to note that there will be negative marking applied only in the MCQ sections of the AILET 2026. The negative marking criteria will follow the formula 0.25 x 4 = 1, indicating that for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be subtracted. Consequently, four incorrect answers will result in a deduction of one mark.
The AILET 2026 will take place in various cities, including Ahmedabad, Asansol, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gorakhpur, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Jamshedpur, Haldwani, Hisar, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam.
In order to provide specialized support and timely assistance to Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates participating in the AILET 2026, the University has established a dedicated helpdesk email address specifically for addressing queries and support needs related to PwD applicants. PwD candidates are encouraged to reach out to the University for any assistance related to the entrance test, accessibility needs, or documentation support at helpdesk-ailetpwd@nludelhi.ac.in.
The University is set to hold the All-India Entrance Test (AIET) on May 3, 2026, for various programmes, including the postgraduate insolvency programme (PGIP) – Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Laws (LLM), a joint master’s/LLM programme in Intellectual Property (IP) law and management, as well as the PhD programme. The online application form will be accessible starting January 7, 2026.
