The Assam State Education Board (ASSEB), previously known as the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), will announce the Class 12 results on April 30. Students can access the Assam board Class 12 HS results via the official website by entering their login credentials. This year, a total of 3,02,420 students took the Assam board HS exams.
During the announcement regarding the Class 12 Assam board result date and time, the state Education Minister Ranoj Pegu stated: “The Higher Secondary 2025 results for the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams will be published tomorrow (30-04-2025) at 9:00 AM. An official notification will be released by ASSEB shortly. A total of 3,02,420 students participated in the HS examinations this year.”
The result link will be accessible on the official AHSEC website—ahsec.assam.gov.in and asseb.in. Students can check and download their scorecards by using their roll number and code.
The AHSEC Assam Board HS Class 12 examinations for 2025 took place from February 13 to March 17 in two shifts, and the practical exams were conducted from January 29 to February 10. This year, reports indicate that more than 3 lakh HS students registered for their Assam board exams. The AHSEC Arts stream had the highest enrollment with 2,30,091 students, followed by Science with 57,724 students, Commerce with 17,869, and Vocational Education with 1,241 students.
The Class 12 scorecard will display the marks obtained by students in various subjects. Students will need to retrieve the original Assam board HS mark sheet from school officials later. This online mark sheet is to be used solely as a reference for college admissions. It will include students’ personal information along with the marks achieved in different subjects and an overall score.
In the previous year, the AHSEC Assam Board HS Class 12 results were released on May 9, 2024. The AHSEC Assam Board HS Class 12 examinations last year were conducted from February 12 to March 13.
A total of 2,73,908 students took part in the AHSEC HS exams 2024, with 2,42,794 passing the exam. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.49, surpassing boys who also achieved a pass percentage of 86.49 across all streams. Nikhilesh Dutta, Sukanya Kumar, and Sankalpjit Saikia topped the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams, respectively.
