Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (Assam CEE 2025). Eligible candidates may now submit their applications until March 9 at astu.ac.in.
The previous deadline was set for February 27.
According to the notification issued by ASTU, “As per the decision of the 5th Cell committee Meeting of CEE-2025, held on 25th February, 2025, the last date for submission of online application forms is extended till 9th March, 2025.”
The examination is scheduled to take place on April 27, lasting three hours in a single shift from 11 am to 2 pm. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from April 12 to April 23, 2025.
The syllabus will align with the higher secondary curriculum of the Assam State School Education Board.
The examination will feature multiple-choice questions.
The question paper will include sections on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with each section containing 40 questions.
Candidates will receive 4 marks for each correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
The application fee is set at ₹1350 for all applicants. Payments can be made online via the payment facility available on the CEE 2025 login portal, with the payment status confirmed within 48 hours.
If the payment status remains pending after 48 hours, candidates are advised to contact the helpline number provided on the website without delay.
