The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB division 1, formerly known as SEBA) is set to announce the results for the Class 10 or HSLC Compartmental examination online. The SEBA Matric Compartmental results will be accessible at 11 am on sebaonline.org.
The HSLC compartment examination commenced on May 23 and concluded on May 29, 2025. The exams were conducted in two shifts: the first shift ran from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift took place from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The HSLC compartment exam began with the MIL/English and Sanskrit papers and concluded with the Advanced Mathematics, Geography, History, Computer Science, Commerce, and Hindi papers.
The board provided an additional 15 minutes for candidates to read the question papers, with the extra time allocated from 8.45 am to 9 am in the morning shift and from 1.15 pm to 1.30 pm in the afternoon shift.
The Compartment examination was designed for candidates who failed in a maximum of three subjects during the regular HSLC examination and who achieved a minimum aggregate score of 170 marks.
To successfully pass the Compartmental examination, a candidate must obtain at least 30 percent of the marks in the subjects they appeared for, and their total score must be 180 or higher.
The ASSEB division 1, or SEBA, announced the HSLC results on April 11. This year, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 63.98 percent, with boys achieving a pass percentage of 67.59 percent and girls achieving 61.09 percent. Amishi Saikia from Jorhat district achieved the highest score in the exam, securing 98.50 percent marks.
No student attained distinction marks (510 marks or 85 percent or above), while three students achieved star marks (450 – 509) in the Compartmental examination. A total of 3307 candidates received letter marks in various subjects during the HSLC examination.
