The Bar Council of India (BCI) has extended the last date of AIBE XVI (16) 2021 registration. The AIBE application form can now be submitted by June 15, 2021. However, the AIBE exam date has not been announced yet. The registration date was previously extended until April 30, 2021.
the official notification says, “The rescheduled date for AIBE 16 will be intimated soon”. It may be noted that AIBE XVI (16) 2021 was originally scheduled to be held on March 21, 2021. However, for some or other reasons, the council has repeatedly postponed the examination. Now, due to the second wave of COVID-19, the AIBE exam date is speculated to be pushed to July“.
The Bar Council of India had already decided to reschedule of All India Bar Examination (AIBE)-XVI and the revised date would be intimated soon. The AIBE-XVI was previously going to be held on April 25.
The AIBE application fee is Rs 3,500 for general and OBC candidates. For SC and ST candidates, the application fee is Rs 2,500. AIBE XVI Application Form 2020 is available in an online mode.
How to fill AIBE XVI (16) application form 2021
- Visit the official website of AIBE at allindiabarexamination.com.
- Click on AIBE XVI (16) registration link
- Register for AIBE using the enrollment number and registration date
- Fill the application form by entering personal information, educational qualification details
- Select test centre and language for the examination
- Upload the documents such as photo, signature, copy of enrollment certificate, and photo id.
- Submit the application fee through E-challan.
About the exam
AIBE (All India Bar Examination) is conducted by the Bar Council of India for candidates who have passed the law degree and want to practice. The candidates who qualify AIBE will receive the Certificate of Practice from the Bar Council of India.
Since it is an open book exam, candidates can carry as many bare acts as they want but it is also important to read the bare acts beforehand so that they do not get confused with tricky questions. Being thorough with the bare act will help candidates attempt questions easily and in a timely manner.
AIBE XVI will be conducted in more than 40 cities across India, and it will be published in 11 languages. There will be no negative marking in AIBE XVI. AIBE tests a candidate’s skill and knowledge to practice law professionally in India. The exam will have multiple-choice questions.
