Re-evaluation
While the board strives to ensure accuracy in the preparation of the Intermediate results, the possibility of a technical error cannot be completely dismissed. If you believe that your score does not reflect your performance, you have the option to request a re-evaluation or scrutiny of your results. Further information regarding this process will be provided following the announcement of the results.
Compartment Exam
Students who do not pass the annual Intermediate examination will have the opportunity to retake Class 12 through the compartment examination. This exam offers Bihar Board students a second chance to succeed if they fail in two or more subjects. Historically, the board has also conducted special examinations for those unable to participate in the annual exam due to late form submissions.
Last year, 12,91,684 students took the annual Intermediate exam, with 11,26,439 successfully passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.21%. The Class 12 compartment exams for the previous year commenced on April 29 and concluded on May 11, with assessments conducted in two shifts each day, the first from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
