Critical Gate Closure and Reporting Guidelines
Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj has issued an official circular emphasizing absolute compliance with exam day timings.
- The 10:00 AM Deadline: Examination center entry gates close permanently at 10:00 AM sharp. No student will be permitted entry past this deadline under any circumstances, regardless of excuses involving local traffic or sudden weather shifts.
- The Paper Reading Window: Answer booklets and question sets are distributed to seated students at 10:15 AM. Students receive a mandatory 15-minute un-interrupted reading window to map out their answers before writing begins at 10:30 AM.
Mandatory Protocol: Dress Code and Prohibited Items
To maintain a fair, transparent, and uniform testing environment, candidates must adhere to these rigid operational rules:
1. Mandatory Identity and Uniform Rules
Regular school candidates must arrive wearing their proper, official school uniform. All candidates must carry two essential physical documents:
- The original CBSE-issued Second Board Admit Card.
- Their official school identity card.
2. Stationery and Permitted Materials
Students are only permitted to carry basic, prescribed stationery items inside transparent pouches.
3. Strict Electronic Ban
The possession of any electronic gadgets, including smartphones, smartwatches, basic digital bands, bluetooth earphones, or programmable calculators, is entirely prohibited inside the premises. Board authorities warned that any student caught with these items will face immediate disqualification under unfair means (UFM) regulations.
4. Social Media Rumour Guardrails
CBSE has strictly directed candidates to refrain from engaging with or spreading unverified exam material, leaked paper hoaxes, or speculative answer keys on platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube, and X. The board is actively collaborating with cyber cells to track and penalize accounts manufacturing panic.
How to Access the Second Board Admit Card
The access framework depends on your enrollment status:
- For Regular School Candidates: Admit cards cannot be downloaded individually. Schools must access their institutional CBSE portal, download the hall tickets in bulk, and distribute physical, counter-signed copies to their respective students.
- For Private Candidates: Private examinees can download their hall tickets directly by visiting cbseit.in, navigating to the “Private Candidate Admit Card 2026” link, and entering their Application Number, Roll Number, or registered Name along with their Date of Birth.
The results for this secondary evaluation phase are anticipated to be processed swiftly, with evaluations projected to conclude for an official declaration by mid-June 2026. This timeline ensures successful candidates face zero delays when blocking seats for higher secondary stream selections.
