The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is inviting applications for award of scholarships for girls students. Female students who passed their Class 10th Board Examination 2020 from a CBSE school will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of merit.
Girls can apply for CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child towards class 12th studies. Those who have won this scholarship in 2019 can apply for renewal.
Application deadline for fresh applicants is December 10, 2020. For renewal last date is December 28, 2020. Candidates must need to submit applications before the due date. CBSE won’t entertain applicants after the last date is over.
To apply you need a minimum of 60 percent marks in Class X Board Examination. Those who will find place in the merit based on marks obtained in qualifying examination will be eligible to receive scholarship.
The tenure of scholarship is maximum 2 years. Winners will receive assistance of Rs. 500/- per month. Also awardees will be eligible to enjoy other benefits offered by the respective schools.
