The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar have collaborated to launch the Eklavya series. The focus of the Eklavya series will be to clarify NEP and showcase how to effectively implement NEP 2020 across schools.
“The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisions a transformational shift in education. The goal is to nurture our student’s creativity, out-of-box thinking, conceptual understanding and learning how to learn,” read the official notice. The online registration process of the Eklavya series has begun on the official website at eklavya.iitgandhinagar.ac.in.

Thought-provoking questions, assignments which promote out-of-box creative thinking (Why did Neeraj Chopra throw javelin at 36 degrees)? Inspiring DIY (do it yourself) project videos using local materials which relate the curriculum to life
What is the value of Eklavya?
After the unprecedented success of 3030 STEMS (1 crore view, 5 lakh subscribers), CBSE and IIT Gandhinagar are coming together with the Eklavya Series on this Teachers’ Day (September 5th).
Implementing the vision set by National Education Policy 2020 might sometimes seem intimidating to school teachers and administrators. This is the gap that CBSE and IITGN are trying to fill with the Eklavya series to demystify NEP and showcase how to effectively implement NEP 2020 across the schools.
The content will be of varying levels and will cover topics in the Science and Mathematics Curriculum of Classes 6-12. Therefore, students from these grades should avail this opportunity to register and participate in conceptual clarity and joyful learning.
