CBSE will release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key along with the candidates’ response sheets by January 1 or 2. The results are expected around January 6 or 7, as per CBSE officials. The CTET 2024 results are expected a week after the answer key release, giving candidates a clear idea of their scores by January 6 or 7.
Once released, the provisional answer key will allow candidates to challenge any discrepancies. Fees paid for successful challenges will be refunded to the same account used for payment. To qualify, candidates need at least 60% (90 out of 150 marks). Reserved category candidates require 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
Candidates clearing Paper 1 can teach Classes 1–5, while those clearing Paper 2 are eligible for Classes 6–8 in CBSE-affiliated schools.
