The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has published the timetable for the Second Main Opportunity Examination for the year 2025. This special examination is organized for students who were unable to pass in one or two subjects during the regular annual board examinations.
The second chance exam offers these students a chance to enhance their performance and secure a pass certificate without the need to wait an entire academic year.
The CGBSE will administer the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) examinations in July 2025. The exams will take place in a single shift, from 10 am to 1:15 pm at designated examination centers.

CGBSE Class 10, 12 Main Exam 2025: How many students passed the main exam?
This year, a total of 815,364 students registered for the CGBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations in 2025. Of these, 475,648 students successfully passed the exams. Specifically, in Class 10, the pass percentage was recorded at 75.61%, while in Class 12, the success rate was noted at 82.72%.
These statistics suggest that a significant number of students are expected to participate in the Second Main Exam 2025, making it a crucial opportunity for academic advancement.
