The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE board exam 2021) has decided cancelled the ISC 12th exams 2021. CISCE will announce the evaluation criteria for Class 12 students soon. CISCE took the decision to cancel the ISC 12th exam 2021 right after the CBSE board cancelled the class 12th exam.
Gerry Arathoon announced that CISCE ISC 12 exams are cancelled due to COVID-19 situation. Earlier in CISCE, the ISC exams were postponed that were scheduled to be held on May 4, 2021. CISCE has previously asked its affiliated school to submit students’ average scores in class 11 and 12 internal exams.
As for the evaluation criteria, The council of the Indian School of certificate examination has not announced any final evaluation criteria for ISC 12th students yet. It is most likely that CISCE will follow the CBSE 12th evaluation criteria of 2021.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a review meeting yesterday on board exams 2021. In the meeting, the minister said, “In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.”
