The CLAT 2021 (Common Law Admission Test) online application submission window opens starting New Year Day i.e. 1 January. The entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on 31 March 2021. CLAT 2021 is a two hour examination and will be delivered between 3 pm to 5 pm. The aspirants who successfully find place in CLAT 2021 shall be offered UG Law Program seats and PG Law Program seats across various National Law Universities (NLUs).
There is no upper age limit to apply for CLAT 2021. The candidates taking examination in UG Law program require pass in Class 12 with minimum 45% marks (40 per cent for reserved category). For PG Law program admission candidates should have Under Graduate Law Degree.
The CLAT 2021 is objective type examination. A total 150 questions will be asked from study areas English, current affairs, legal reasoning, quantitative techniques and logical reasoning. Answering a question wrong shall attract negative marking of 0.25 marks. Consortium of NLUs is administering authority for the CLAT 2021 Entrance Examination.
