The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will conduct the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET 2024) on May 12. The Consortium has already started accepting applications from February 1, 2024. Candidates wishing to appear for the COMEDK UGET exam on May 12 can apply at comedk.org by April 5. The COMEDK UGET registration fee for 2024 is Rs 1,800 without taxes. Candidates appearing for both engineering and medical programs have to pay Rs 2,950 without convenience fees.
The COMEDK 2024 UGET exam will be held for three hours with a total of 180 questions for one mark each. The paper will be divided into three sections – maths, physics, and chemistry. The COMEDK UGET exam pattern is different for engineering and medical courses.
Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer in the COMEDK 2024 paper. As per the COMEDK exam pattern 2023, no marks will be deducted for wrong answers. However, in the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answers) will be adopted, the Consortium said. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties, it added.
