BENGALURU: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is set to declare the results and final merit list for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 today, May 29, 2026. The scorecard and rank card download link will be activated at 4:00 PM IST on the official portal at comedk.org.
More than 1.3 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance examination conducted on May 9, 2026, competing for approximately 20,000 undergraduate seats across more than 150 private unaided engineering colleges in Karnataka.
Steps to download the scorecard:
- Visit the Portal: Navigate to the official website at
comedk.org. - Access Link: Click on the designated “COMEDK UGET Result 2026” or “Rank Card Download” link on the homepage.
- Log In: Input your unique application sequence number (or user ID) and password.
- Download Result: Submit the details to view your overall score, subject percentiles, and All India Rank (AIR). Print a copy for mandatory verification rounds.
Key evaluation and counselling details:
- Marking Evaluation: The computer-based test comprised 180 total questions (60 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). Candidates are awarded 1 mark per correct answer, with no negative marking applied for incorrect responses.
- Tie-Breaking Rule: In instances where candidates secure identical percentile scores, ties will be resolved sequentially based on fewer negative responses, aggregate scores in Physics and Mathematics, individual Mathematics marks, and finally, candidate seniority by age.
- Counselling Process: The centralized online counselling process for engineering admissions is scheduled to begin in the first week of June 2026. Candidates must retain their physical rank cards, as entry to the online preference filling and document verification stages will not be permitted without them.
