The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notice regarding the CSIR UGC NET 2020 exam. As per the announcement, the council has postponed the CSIR UGC NET 2020 exam due to cyclone “Nivar.” The Mathematical Sciences and Chemical Sciences exam has also been postponed in the Union Territory of Puducherry which has also been marred by “Nivar.”
Cyclone “Nivar” has hit the coastal state of Tamil Nadu yesterday and also the Union Territory of Puducherry. The CSIR UGC NET 2020 exam is conducted twice every year to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in various colleges and universities.
Those who qualify for the CSIR UGC NET exam are awarded a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the faculty of Science. The CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted for five subjects i.e. for Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Science, and Earth Sciences.
