The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the CSIR UGC NET Answer Key for 2024. Candidates who participated in the Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination conducted in December 2024 can access the provisional answer key via the official CSIR UGC NET website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
According to the official announcement, the Agency has made available the provisional answer keys along with the question papers and recorded responses. The window for raising objections is currently open, allowing candidates to submit their challenges until March 14, 2025. Those who wish to contest the answer key may do so by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 for each question challenged.
Payment of the processing fee can be made using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI payment methods.
The official announcement states, “Challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject matter experts. If a candidate’s challenge is deemed valid, the answer key will be amended accordingly, and this revised key will be applied to all candidates’ responses. The final results will be compiled and announced based on the updated answer key. Candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The final answer key determined by the experts after the review process will be conclusive.”
The CSIR UGC NET examination took place on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025, across 326 examination centers in 164 cities nationwide, with a total of 238,451 candidates participating. The examination was conducted in a Computer-Based Test format.
