The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the schedule for the CSIR UGC NET June Exam 2025. The date for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam has been altered due to a scheduling conflict with the HTET 2024 exam date. Candidates may view the revised schedule on the official NTA website at nta.ac.in.
According to the official announcement, the Agency has received multiple requests from candidates indicating that the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024 is also set to take place on July 26 and 27, 2025, coinciding with the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 examination. In consideration of the candidates’ interests, the date for the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam has been changed to July 28, 2025.
The examination will occur on the same date across all subjects: mathematics, earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, and physical sciences. Information regarding the Exam City will be provided through an Advance City Intimation Slip approximately 8 to 10 days before the examination.
The written examination will be administered in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. It will comprise three sections, each containing objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be no intermissions between the papers. The examination paper will be available in both Hindi and English. Candidates must respond in the language they selected in their Application Form.
This exam is conducted to assess the eligibility of Indian nationals for the ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, as well as for ‘admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges through Computer Based Test (CBT).
