Delhi University has released the detailed schedule for upcoming undergraduate admission rounds under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2024-25 academic year. This announcement includes crucial dates for upgrade options, mid-entry provisions, and the third round of seat allocations.
The upgrade window will be open from 5 pm on August 31 to 4.59 pm on September 1, 2024. During this period, candidates admitted in Round I and Round II can opt for an upgrade to a higher preference. Candidates can reorder their preferred program and college combinations ranked higher than their current allocation. Admission to an upgraded seat will require payment of any differential fees, and the admission will be finalised only upon successful fee payment.
PERFORMANCE-BASED PROGRAMME ALLOCATIONS
Delhi University will declare the upgraded allocations and Round-I results for performance-based programmes, including CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities), Sports, and Ward Quota, at 5 pm on September 3, 2024.
Candidates must accept their allocated seats by 4:59 pm on September 4, 2024. Colleges will verify and approve applications until 4.59 pm on September 5, 2024.
The deadline for fee payment is set for 4:59 pm on September 6, 2024.
MID-ENTRY PROVISION FOR NEW APPLICANTS
For students who missed earlier phases of the CSAS (UG) 2024, the mid-entry window provides another opportunity to apply.
This provision is available from 5 pm on September 7 until 4:59 pm on September 9, 2024. A non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 is required for mid-entry.
Candidates who were previously rejected due to incorrect subject mapping or failure to meet eligibility criteria can correct these issues during the mid-entry period.
THIRD ROUND ALLOCATION DETAILS
The third round of seat allocation for Delhi University UG admissions will be announced at 5 pm on September 11, 2024, with acceptance required by 4:59 pm on September 13, 2024.
Colleges will verify and approve applications until 4:59 pm on September 14, 2024. The last date for fee payment for third-round admissions is 4:59 pm on September 15, 2024.
Delhi University will release the list of vacant seats at 5 pm on September 7, 2024, allowing candidates to review available options before submitting their preferences.
