The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has released the timetable for the Class 10, and 12 supplementary exams 2024. Candidates who are appearing for the SSC and HSC supplementary examinations can check the exam dates from the official website at gseb.org.
As per the announcement, GSEB SSC supplementary exams 2024 will be held between June 24 and July 4 while Gujarat Board HSC supplementary exams 2024 for science stream are scheduled between June 24 and July 3. GSEB Class 12 general and vocational stream exams will conducted till July 6 and July 3, respectively.
Absent students and those placed under ‘needs improvement’ in the Gujarat Class, 10 and 12 mark sheet 2024 will be permitted to improve their scores in one or a maximum of three subjects through the supplementary exams.
GSEB SSC, HSC Supplementary Exam Pattern
The HSC Class 12 supplementary exam will contain two sections, where section A will contain 50 MCQs carrying 50 marks in total, and section B will consist of descriptive questions carrying 50 marks in total. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours with an OMR-based exam. The board has asked candidates to appear half an hour before the exam on the first day.
On the other hand, the GSEB SSC supplementary exam will be of 80 marks except for vocational courses where the exam will be 30 marks. The exam will be held from 10 am to 1:15 pm, where students will be given reading time for the first 15 minutes. The vocational exam will be conducted from 10 am to 11:15 am.

This year, in Class 12 boys have outperformed girls in the Science stream by a thin margin, as girls scored an overall pass percentage of 82.35 percent, while led the year by scoring 83.53 percent.
In the GSEB HSC general stream, as many as 3,78,268 students appeared and of them, 3,47,738 were cleared. In GSEB HSC science, out of the 1,11,132 students appearing, as many as 91,625 cleared. The pass percentage in science group A is 90.11 percent, in group B, it is 78.34 per cent and in groups A and B combined, the overall pass percentage is 68.42 per cent.
