The Himachal Pradesh Government on Wednesday postponed the ongoing state board exams for Classes 10 and 12 in view of the rising COVID-19 cases, state education secretary Rajeev Sharma said. The education secretary also said that the undergraduate university examinations, due to start on April 17, have also been postponed.
The situation will be reviewed at the government level on May 1 and further directions will be issued accordingly, Mr Sharma added. The Himachal Pradesh class 12 board exams 2021 were scheduled to be held from April 13 to May 10, 2021. HPBOSE class 10 exams were scheduled to be held from April 13 to 28. The HPBOSE Practical exams for class 10th and 12th began in the last week of March and concluded in the first week of April.
The Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh said that the said exams have been postponed to May 17, 2021. As per the latest updates, HPBOSE 10th, 12th Board Exams 2021 and UG exams are now being postponed to May 17, 2021.
