The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), located in Dharamshala, has released the results for the re-evaluation and re-inspection of Class 12 (regular) examinations. These results pertain to students who submitted requests for a review of their answer sheets from the March 2025 examinations, which are now available on the official website hpbose.org. The regular HPBOSE Class 12 results for 2025 were announced on May 17; however, due to a human error in the evaluation of the English paper, the board published a revised version of the results on May 21.
Students whose scores have improved as a result of the re-evaluation or re-checking process must return their previously issued HPBOSE Class 12 mark sheets and certificates, assuming they have already collected them from the branch.
The updated HP Board certificates, which will reflect the revised marks, will only be issued after the original documents are submitted to the designated Class 12 examination branches. It is important to note that HPBOSE has not yet released the Class 10th results on the website.

This year, the pass percentage for HPBOSE Class 10th stands at 79.8 percent. Out of a total of 95,495 students, 75,862 successfully passed the Class 12 examination. The compartment category included 5,563 students, while 13,574 students did not pass.
In Class 12, 88.64 percent of the candidates who took the exam in March have successfully passed. A total of 76,315 students out of 86,373 passed, with 3,838 placed in the compartment category and 5,868 failing. The results for Class 12 were revised due to an anomaly.
The preliminary Class 12 results, which were released on May 17, indicated that 71,591 students had passed, 5,847 were in the compartment category, and 8,581 had failed. Following a “human error” in the marks compilation for the Class-12 English paper, which had been cancelled once, the board reassessed the paper using the correct answer keys, as stated by officials.
The HP board Class 10 and Class 12 exams for the 2024-25 session were held from March 10 to 22, and March 4 to March 29, respectively.
