The English language section will consist of 30 questions worth 30 marks, while the quantitative aptitude section will include 35 questions for 30 marks, available in both English and Hindi. The reasoning ability section will also have 35 questions, but these will be worth 40 marks and presented in both English and Hindi. Candidates will be allotted 20 minutes to complete each section.
All questions will be in a multiple-choice format with one correct answer. Candidates are required to select the most appropriate option, which will be considered their final answer. A penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
To be eligible for shortlisting for the Main Examination, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks in each test as well as in the overall score. The cut-off marks will be determined by the number of vacancies available, and the decision made by IBPS will be conclusive.
Although the test duration is 60 minutes, candidates should anticipate spending approximately 150 minutes at the examination venue, which includes time for entry, logging in, receiving instructions, and exiting.
