The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that it will re-open the online application form for CA Final and CA Intermediate exams from May 4 to May 6, 2021. As per the latest announcement, the decision to re-open the CA Examination application form 2021 has been taken after considering the prevailing COVID-19 situation and in the interest and well-being of students.
The notification released by ICAI says, “It has been decided to re-open the online filling up of examination application form for Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate (IPC) and Intermediate, post-qualification course viz: Insurance and risk management (IRM) technical examination and Internation taxation-assessment test (INTT-AT) from May 4, 2021 (10 am) to May 6, 2021 (11:59 pm).”
In an earlier notification dated April 27, the ICAI had announced that CA Intermediate and Final examination have been postponed due to COVID-19. The CA May exams were originally scheduled to be held from May 21, 2021. The new exam dates will be announced in due course and the notification regarding the same will be uploaded 25 days before the examination.
