The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) registration window now opens for Certificate Course in Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting. The fourth batch of this certificate program shall begin from 8 May 2021.
The course requires completing 15 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. However, 5 CPE hours will be given after qualifying the examination. The medium of course delivery is English. This is a five-day course with daily four-hour sessions.
The Chartered Accountant working in both public and private sectors are eligible to apply for the online course. The course has the purpose to teach critical skills to prepare professionals as preparers, assurance providers, risk managers, investment appraiser of projects.
The interested candidates can register on ICAI’s official website http://icai.org/ by using their registered ICAI id and password to access the online course.
The Certificate Course on Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting will have numerous modules including– Introductory session, MCA BRSR disclosures– module 1 and module 2, assurance aspects and BRSR vis-a-vis global frameworks. At the end of each session candidates would be required to answer a list of multiple-choice questions.
On successful completion Certificate Course on Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting will be awarded.
