The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore invites applications from early-stage start-ups those have the potential to upsurge access and affordability of healthcare in India. The application process is open now and last date to apply is 15 February 2021.
The early stage start-ups with potential in healthcare will be shortlisted for a three-month pre-incubation phase of the programme. After completion of pre-incubation period these start-ups will get an opportunity to pitch to NSRCEL for a 12-month incubation programme.
The start-ups will be selected based on the practicality of the idea and the solution offered to solve the problems in healthcare. The programme has the purpose to support healthcare innovators and entrepreneurs through their ‘lab to market’ journey. The program is delivered by NSRCEL – the start-up hub at IIM Bangalore. The startups will be guided by mentors through need assessment, one-on-one interactions, and workshops.
The incubation program will help out entrepreneurs to connect with over 800 NSRCEL ventures and networks including Bangalore BioInnovation Center, IIITB Innovation Center SocialAlpha and HCG Academics. The program will focus on entrepreneurs getting access to workshops on building their value proposition, impact measurement, leadership capacity building, legal and compliance support, a strategic road map for scaling among others along with funding.
The participating ventures of the NSRCEL healthcare programme will have continuous support after completion period through webinars, masterclasses, guest lectures, and workshops.
