The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has successfully completed Placements 2021 for the batch of 2019-21 for Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and five years Integrated Program in Management (IPM). This year top offered made by a foreign firm is Rs. 56.8 lakh while top offer made by an Indian recruiter is Rs. 41.5 lakh.
The IIMI’s PGP and IPM students received job offers from 210 firms. Average salary offered is 23.6 lakh which is 3% higher than the last year i.e. Placements 2020.
“Sales & Marketing was a sought-after domain this year as well with companies like AB InBev, Asian Paints, Enphase Energy, Hindustan Unilever Limited, ITC, L’Oreal and Marico making multiple offers to the candidates. With the e-commerce sector becoming the trending career destinations for students, companies like Amazon, Country Delight, Indiamart, Udaan, V2 Retail offered multiple roles to the candidates”, mentions official website.
Finance sector has made 24% offers; Sales and Marketing 23%; Consulting 22%; and General Management and Operations 20%. The IT/Analytics firms have made 11% offers.
Some of the top recruiters from finance sector are Bank of America, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HDFC Bank, ICICI, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Kotak Mahindra Bank, Morgan Stanley and State Street. This year more than 40 new recruiters visited the IIM Indore campus.
