IISER IAT 2023 examination dates announced, get the exam schedule here

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will conduct the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT-2023) on June 17. The application portal will open on April 15.

IISER 2023 eligibility criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals or PIO/ OCI.
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2022 or 2023 from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE).
• Qualifying marks: Candidates of the General/ OBC & OBC-NCL category should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination (55% marks for SC/ ST PWD candidates.
• Qualifying subjects: Students in the 12th level must have passed at least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology to be considered as from the ‘Science stream.’

IISER 2023 application fee:

Those applying under the General, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories must pay ₹2,000. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST, disabled, or registered Kashmiri migrants categories must pay ₹1,000.

IISER 2023 examination pattern:

The AT will have 60 MCQ questions, 15 from each of the following categories: biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. 180 minutes will be allotted for the test’s questions.

Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
