The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has extended the deadline to fill the IIT JAM admission form 2021 to May 31. Earlier, the last date to fill the IIT JAM 2021 admission form was May 27.
The IISC has also modified and eased the eligibility criteria for admission to the master’s and integrated Ph.D. program in the IIT and the IISC through joint admission test of Masters, JAM scores for 2021.
Students now with a “Pass” in a qualifying exam can apply for IIT JAM 2021. The decision by IISc has been taken considering the hardships of students during the pandemic. As per the official statement on the JOAPs Portal, ” In view of the covid-19 Eligibility requirement for admission through jam 2021 is relaxed to pass in qualifying degree for all categories.”
IISc Bangalore will release three admission lists of IIT JAM 2021 based on details mentioned by candidates in the JAM admission form and number of seats available in the various participating institutes. The first, second and third IIT JAM 2021 admission list will be released on June 16, July 1 and July 16, respectively.
To check the IIT JAM admission list 2021, candidates have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials in the JOAPS web portal. Candidates will find various key details in the IIT JAM 2021 admission list such as their name, opted subject, and the rank secured by them.
Once the final JAM admission list is released, the selected candidates will receive a final offer letter for admission to their desired institute.
How to apply IIT JAM 2021 Admission:
- Visit the web link of the Indian Institute of Sciences dedicated to JAM 2021.
- Click on the IIT JAM 2021 Admission application link.
- Enter enrollment id, email id, and password.
- Fill the JAM 2021 admission application form and click on submit tab.
