The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has released the updated information brochure for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021. Prospective students can download the new JEE Advanced Information Brochure from official website jeeadv.ac.in.
The newly published information brochure contains information related changes for applicants who registered for JEE Advanced 2020 and foreign candidates. Also the booklet informs about the changes in certificate formats.
The JEE Advanced Information Booklet informs that the candidates who were registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent in both the papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, are eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2021. These candidates do not need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2021.
All such candidates falling in above category will be required to register for JEE Advanced and pay the registration fees. These students will not be considered as part of the total number of students who would qualify from JEE Main 2021 but they will be treated additionally.
Candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but absent in JEE Advanced Paper(s) do not need to initiate the fresh registration to write the JEE Advanced 2021. However, for JEE Advanced 2021 Registration candidates will need to use JEE Advanced 2020 login id, JEE Advanced 2020 roll number, or JEE Advanced registration number along with their date of birth.
Students who are applying for the JEE Advanced exam are required to submit all requested documents including Class 10, 12th marksheets, Caste certificate, Physical disability certificate(if mentioned).
The JEE Advanced 2021 Registration will commence from September 11 (10 am) and will close on September 16 (5 pm).
