The Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras has prolonged the registration period for the IIT Madras MBA Admission 2026. The final date to submit applications for the two-year, full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme is February 8, 2026.
Individuals interested in applying for the course may do so via the official IIT Madras website at doms.iitm.ac.in/domsmba.
Previously, the deadline for applications was January 31, 2026.

Applicants must possess a recognized undergraduate degree in any field with a minimum of 60 percent (or 55 percent for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Final-year students are also eligible to apply and will be granted provisional admission, contingent upon meeting degree requirements by September 30, 2026.
Indian applicants are required to have a valid CAT 2025 score, while foreign applicants must provide a valid GMAT score. Sponsored candidates with a minimum of two years of work experience in the same organization may apply through the designated channel.
Interviews will be conducted in various cities on different dates.
In Mumbai, interviews are scheduled from March 6 to 8, in Delhi from March 13 to 15. The interview sessions in Chennai will take place from March 20 to 22, and in Hyderabad and Kolkata from March 28 to 29.
The admission results are expected to be announced in May 2026, after which the joining, orientation, and registration of selected candidates will occur in July 2026. Pre-term classes and examinations are also planned for July 2026, with regular MBA classes commencing in the same month. For further information, candidates can visit the official MBA website.
