Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced an extension for the submission of the IPU Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 application form, now due by April 11. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs via the official website, ipu.ac.in.
The IPU CET 2025 is scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 18 in a hybrid format. This entrance examination facilitates admission to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, encompassing 46 master’s degree programs, 40 PhD programs, and 34 undergraduate degree programs.
Eligibility Criteria and Available Courses for IPU CET 2025
Applicants for undergraduate programs must have achieved a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in their Class 12 board examinations. For those seeking admission to postgraduate programs, a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree is required.
The following courses are available for application:
– Undergraduate Programs: B Tech (Biotechnology), B Sc Nursing, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BJMC, BA English (Hons), BPT
– Postgraduate Programs: MA English, MCA, M.Ed, MBA (IT), MOT, MPT, LLM
– Medical Program: MBBS
Application Process for IPU CET 2025
Step 1: Navigate to the official IPU CET website at ipu.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” button located on the homepage.
Step 3: Register by providing your basic information.
Step 4: Complete the application form with the required details, including academic qualifications, personal information, and contact details.
Step 5: Upload the necessary documents, such as your signature and photograph.
Step 6: Pay the application fee using the available payment options.
Step 7: Review all the information entered in the form before submission.
Step 8: Download and print a copy of the submitted application form for your records.
IPU CET 2025 Examination Format and Scoring System
The IPU CET 2025 examination will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes. As per the scoring system, candidates will receive four points for each correct answer, whereas one point will be subtracted for each incorrect response. The overall score for the examination will be 400.
Those who pass the IPU CET 2025 will be required to engage in the counselling process to finalize their admission. The counselling will be available in both online and offline formats.
