The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has published the schedule for the class 11 examination on its official website. The examinations for class 11 will take place from May 20 to May 22, 2025, under the Jharkhand Board. Students can access the JAC class 11 date sheet by visiting the official website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
In addition to the date sheet, the announcement includes information stating that principals of all +2 schools and colleges can download admit cards for students from the council’s website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in starting May 13, 2025, and must ensure these are distributed to students.
JAC Class 11 Examination Schedule for 2025
The class 11 exams conducted by JAC will have two sessions each day. The duration and timings for each session differ daily. All candidates will be granted 15 minutes to review the question paper.
On 20th May 2025 (Tuesday):
In the morning session (10:45 AM to 12:00 PM), students from Science and Commerce streams will take their Core Language (ENA/HNA) exam, while all streams will take the HNB + M.B. exam, consisting of 40 questions worth 40 marks. In the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 3:15 PM), Arts students will participate in their Core Language (ENA/HNA) exam, also consisting of 40 questions for 40 marks.
On 21st May 2025 (Wednesday):
The morning session (10:45 AM to 1:00 PM) will be for Science and Commerce students taking PHY + CHE / ACT + BST exams, which will feature 40 + 40 questions for a total of 80 marks. In the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM), Arts students will sit for their first, second, and third optional subjects, summing up to 120 marks with 40 + 40 + 40 questions.
On 22nd May 2025 (Thursday):
During the morning session (10:45 AM to 1:00 PM), Science and Commerce students will write exams for their third and fourth optional subjects, consisting of 40 + 40 questions totaling 80 marks. In the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 3:15 PM), Arts students will take the Elective Language examination, which includes 40 questions worth 40 marks.
The notification also advised the respective Principals and students that the class 11 exams will be administered via OMR sheets for five subjects only. The council will oversee the assessment of the five main subjects chosen by candidates at designated exam centers according to the outlined schedule.
To pass the examination, students must successfully complete four subjects. The format involves multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 40 marks for each subject, with a subject-specific internal assessment of 10 marks at the +2 school/college level.
