The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially launched the mock test links for JEE Advanced 2025, covering both Paper 1 and Paper 2, allowing candidates to commence their preparation. Those seeking admission to top IITs can now access the free mock tests on the official website — jeeadv.ac.in — to familiarize themselves with the computer-based test format prior to the actual examination.
The JEE Advanced 2025 is set to take place on May 18, 2025, and only candidates who have successfully qualified for JEE Main 2025 are permitted to apply. The registration period for eligible candidates will be open from April 23 to May 2, with the fee payment deadline on May 5.
These mock tests offer a precise simulation of the actual exam, enabling candidates to grasp the question format, marking criteria, time management, and overall difficulty. Engaging with these practice papers will also assist in pinpointing areas that require improvement, providing a strategic edge before the real exam.
Notably, no login information is necessary to access the mock tests. Candidates can simply visit the official JEE Advanced website, go to the “Resources” section, select “Mock Test,” and begin attempting either paper. Each mock test lasts three hours, mirroring the duration of the actual exam. Upon completion, candidates can review their responses by downloading the “Question Paper” available on the portal.
The announcement of the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 results on April 19 revealed that 24 students achieved the 100th percentile, marking the commencement of the competition for top ranks in JEE Advanced.
