Once the download link is activated by IIT Roorkee, follow these steps to secure your copy:
- Visit the official JEE Advanced website: jeadv.ac.in.
- Find and click on the designated link for the “JEE Advanced 2026 Candidate Response Sheet” on the homepage.
- Enter your login credentials, which include your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Registered Mobile Number.
- Submit the details to open your profile dashboard.
- Your recorded responses for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will appear on the screen. Save, download, and print the document for your records.
Tip for Students: Keep this downloaded response sheet handy alongside the official question papers (which were published on May 18). Having these ready will make it much quicker to calculate your estimated score when the provisional answer key drops on May 25.
What Follows the Result Declaration?
After the final answer keys and scores are made public on June 1, the focus will shift entirely to admissions. All successful candidates who clear the cutoffs will be invited to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process. This centralized portal coordinates the seat distribution across all participating Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other premier centrally funded technical institutions across the country.
