The National Test Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam between January 24 and February 1. The registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE 2024) has also begun on the official website – nta.ac.in. The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 will be conducted between April 1 and 15, 2024.
JEE Main 2024 is being held for admission into the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs), and institutions recognized by participating state governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2024, which is conducted for admission to IITs.
The exam comprises two papers – Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs while Paper 2 is conducted for admission to Bachelors in Architecture and Bachelor in Planning. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
