Indian Army has made the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 scorecard compulsory to fill Indian Army TES 46 application form. Along with a valid JEE Main score, applicants must also have minimum qualifying marks in Class 12. The Army has also announced that the online registration window for TES 46 intake will tentatively commence in July-August 2021.
The age limit to apply for Indian Army TES 46 entry is 16.5 to 19.5 years. Applicants appearing for the Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme must have 70% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics from a recognised board. To appear for Indian Army TES 46 recruitment, candidates first need to complete the registration process from the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of education qualification will be called for the SSB interview later.

Indian Army TES comprises a 5-year training program including basic military and technical training. On successful completion, candidates will be granted permanent commission in the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant.
In the TES, the total training is for 5 years which is held in two phases: phase 1 is basic military training of one year at the Officer’s Training Academy Gaya; phase 2 is the technical training in which candidates will undergo 3 years pre-commission training and 1 year post-commission training at CME Pune or MCTE Mhow or MCEME Secunderabad.
With the online registrations for the TES 46 scheduled to commence in July-August 2021, candidates can expect the army to also release the official TES 46 advertisement indicating the details of the recruitment.
