The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has prolonged the application period for the UP Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) (UPJEE). Students can now register for UPJEE JEECUP until May 10 via the official website – jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The examination is scheduled to take place from May 20 to May 28.
UPJEE is conducted to select candidates for polytechnic courses and post-diploma in industrial safety. Applicants can choose any four groups – group A, group B, group e1, group e2, or group L to K.

Step 2. Register by providing your name and contact information
Step 3. Complete the necessary details
Step 4. Pay the application fee online
Step 5. Submit the application form for UPJEE 2025
The registration fee for UPJEE 2025 is Rs 300 for candidates in the general and OBC categories, while it is Rs 200 for those in the SC and ST categories. Payment of the fee can be made using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Each group will have a single paper containing 100 objective-type questions, and the test will last three hours. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, with one-fourth of a mark deducted for incorrect responses.

In the previous year, the UPJEE exams took place from June 13 to June 20. Candidates who meet the cutoff requirements will be invited to participate in the counselling process. To register for the online counselling process, candidates will need to pay a registration fee of Rs 250. After the seat allocation is finalized, candidates must report to their designated institutes to complete the admission procedures.
Meanwhile, the NTA completed the BE and BTech paper exams for JEE Main 2025, session 2, on April 8. This JEE Main 2025 exam for BTech and BE (Paper 1) consisted of three subjects – physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and was conducted for a total of 300 marks.
