In Jharkhand, the State Education Department in collaboration with Doordarshan will broadcast video lectures and online classes for students of Class 1 to 12 from June 14 onwards for next three months.
The department has signed a contract with Doordarshan in this regard.
Initiating the online classes on Doordarshan again, the state education department is in no mood to risk the lives of children likely to be affected in the possible third wave of COVID-19.
Schools have been providing online content to students since the beginning of new academic session, but post summer vacations, students shall be benefitted with special video lectures aired on Doordarshan regional channel.
