The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared the Class 11 results. Candidates who appeared for the exams this year can now check their scorecards at the official website at jkbose.nic.in.
Students would be required to key in their roll number and registration number to check their Class 11 results. This year 72 per cent passed the examination. Of the total students who appeared for the JKBOSE examination, 88,396 have qualified for the Class 12 exam.
Girls have surpassed boys. This year, 72 per cent of girl students passed the exam, while 69 per cent boys cleared the JKBOSE exam mentioned the media reports. The officials while announcing the results said that this year 32,163 students cleared the exam with distinction while 38,998 were granted first division and 3,462 students failed the Class 11 exam.
This year, the Class 11 exams for Arts, Science, and Commerce streams were conducted from April 22 to May 26 in the soft zone. In hard zone, the exams were held from April 2 to May 1.
