Age Criteria
For National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates, including the wards of Battle Casualties, the age range is 19 to 25 years as of July 1, 2025 (candidates must be born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006, inclusive).
Probationary Period
An officer will undergo a probationary period of six months starting from the date of commissioning. Should an officer be deemed unsuitable during this period, their services may be terminated at any time, regardless of whether the probationary period has concluded.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications. Notification regarding the allotment of selection centers will be sent to candidates via email. Following the center allotment, candidates must log in to the website to select their SSB dates, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis initially. Only those candidates who are shortlisted will be required to attend the SSB at the designated selection centers.
Candidates who are recommended by the SSB and found medically fit will receive a joining letter for training based on their merit ranking.

- A new page will appear, prompting candidates to click on the registration option.
- Complete the registration process and fill out the application form.
- After finishing, click on the submit button.
- Download the confirmation page and retain a printed copy for future reference.
