The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has decided to postpone the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024. This decision comes in response to the scheduling conflict with the final semester exams of several universities. Originally slated for July 13 and July 14, the new dates for the PGCET will be announced soon on the KEA website.
Students had raised concerns about the clash of dates, leading to numerous requests for postponement. The KEA acknowledged these appeals, stating, “Many students have submitted the requests to KEA for postponement of PGCET 2024 exam scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th July 2024 as few universities are commencing final semester exams from 5th and 10th July, 2024.”
In addition to postponing the exam, KEA will reopen the registration window for Karnataka PGCET 2024. Students who have yet to apply can do so online at kea.kar.nic.in until July 7 at 11:59 pm.
It’s important to note that the registration fee payment window will close on July 9 at 6 pm. The Karnataka PGCET is a crucial exam for admission to various postgraduate courses, including MCA, MBA, ME, MArch, and MTech.
