Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Important Dates
– The online application process for KVS Class 1 and Balvatika (Levels 1, 2, and 3) will commence on March 7 at 10 am and will conclude on March 21 at 10 pm.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2025-26: Required Documents
— A valid mobile number with an Indian SIM card
— A valid email address
— A digital or scanned photograph of the child applying for admission to KVS (JPEG file not exceeding 256KB)
— A scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate, along with proof of address and caste certificate (JPEG or PDF file)
— Details of the government certificate if applying under the economically weaker section
— Transfer details of the parent or grandparent whose service credentials will be referenced in the application
The admission application for KVS is structured into five sections, each organized under a distinct tab. The sections are as follows: basic information, parents’ details, choice of schools, document upload, declaration, and submission.
For applications under the Single Girl Child category, it is necessary to complete the online application form and upload the required documents, similar to other admission applications. There is no requirement to directly contact the Principal of the Vidyalaya where admission is sought.

As per the official announcement, the minimum age for admission to Class 1 is set at 6 years.
